Pektron commissions new Class-7 clean room

Pektron have fully commissioned a new BS EN ISO 14644 Class 7 clean room at their Derby site.

This new facility - which will ensure that precision products are assembled in a dust-free environment - will produce high-quality TFT / LCD automotive & off-road driver information systems from 2009 onwards.

It is the latest development to emerge from the Pektron “Total Quality” culture, a philosophy which also extends throughout the supply chain, with Pektron suppliers delivering components directly to the clean-room site, in specially designed contaminant-free packaging.

In a challenging time for the industry, when many are faced with budgetary cuts and falling sales, this new facility underlines Pektron’s commitment to support their customers with products of the highest quality, and is a clear reminder of their position as a world-class electronics supplier.
